And A Happy Easter It Was!

Wearing his bunny ears proudly after his visit with the Easter Bunny!
Cousins, cousins, cousins galore! L to R from top to bottom: Peyton, Reagan, Weston, Emily, Mattie, Victoria and Kaden.

The Easter Bunny left Peyton and his brothers a real bunny for Easter! I sure am glad he ran out before he stopped by our house to see Reagan!! ;)
Cutting up with Tori-Beth and Emily!

Hunting Easter eggs with Lindsay!

Spring is here!

Reagan, Jon and I spent Saturday afternoon at the pond. The weather was gorgeous - just perfect for fishing! Years ago, Jon told me if I was going to fish with him that I had to be able to bait my own hook and take my own fish off. Of course, I put Reagan through the same torture! He didn't seem to mind as much as I do though! ;)

Sea World

Of all the parks we visited, Sea World was my favorite.

Shamu's size was amazing!

Yes, he soaked us!

I could have stayed in front of this underwater tank and watched these killer whales all day long. Amazing animals!

My most favorite memory from the whole trip - feeding the dolphins!

Universal Studios

Thankfully, Reagan doesn't have a clue who he's standing with.

His Papa Wayne will be so proud!

This picture says it all:

I think they misprinted Reagan and put in the word George instead:

Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World

Now I know why it's called 'The Happiest Place on Earth':

Growing up...

Reagan spent some time with his Nana yesterday afternoon while I cleaned our car out (a major accomplishment!) and went shopping to pick up some things we will need for our vacation this coming weekend. We never left Brenda and Sherrill's house until almost 8:30 last night. Needless to say, Reagan was exhausted and fell asleep as soon as his bottom hit the carseat. When we got home, I went to pick Reagan up from his carseat and carry him in the house. It really is a struggle to pick him up and carry him, and my pocketbook, and shut and lock the car doors, not to mention then making up it up the stairs and finding the right key and managing to unlock and open the door - he seems to weigh a ton these days! As soon as I got the door open, I thought of how quickly time is passing. It seems like only yesterday Jon was carrying him from the car to our front door for the first time. I realized that in the not-that-far-off future, I won't be able to pick him up anymore. Very soon, he will be too heavy for me to carry from the car to his bed. In that moment, with that sweet little boy wrapped up in a blanket in my arms, I just wanted to freeze him. Freeze him just like that... little... sweet... innocent... forever. Forever his Daddy's "best buddy", my "best helper" and the handsome, happy-go-lucky boy that he is with nothing more to worry about than if he, Pluto the dog, or Daddy is going to win the wrestling match tonight in the middle of my living room floor, and if tomorrow is a "home day" or a "work day". I can't help but think that these days are numbered.

Folks, my boy is growing up, and that's a bittersweet thought for this Mama.
