Swimming lessons at Campbell

Reagan (and five of his cousins!) just wrapped up his second year of swimming lessons at Campbell this week. He enjoyed it just as much this year as last!

Conversations with Reagan...

Reagan: Hey Mommy, do you know that if you have food and your friends don't have any food that you should give them some of yours?
Me: Reagan that is really nice of you to say that.

Before I could say anything else...

Reagan: If your friends don't have any toys, and you have toys, then you should share your toys with them because there are people in Angier that don't have any toys. That's how God wants us to be.

The moments when I feel like a truly great mother are rare. Last night was one of them.

Sweet Summertime

Reagan and I celebrated the arrival of Summer by going swimming at Mama's last night. The heat index today is 105 - we might just have to go back tonight!

Summer is my favorite season. This season brings so much to look forward to: the BEACH!, swimming lessons at Campbell, 4th of July, hanging out at the pool, helping my Grandma put up vegetables, watermelons!, Bible School, and did I mention the BEACH?
